Job Opportunity - Work for the CBCA National



The Children’s Book Council of Australia is seeking an assistant to support the administration of the Book of the Year Awards from its Brisbane national office.


This is a permanent part-time position of eight hours per week. Some flexibility in work hours will be required. 


The position is based at the CBCA National Office at the State Library of Queensland. It is expected that the successful applicant would be able to commence work very soon after being appointed to the position.

    School libraries are usually smaller unless you're talking about academic libraries attached to colleges and universities and have books that are appropriate for the age of the children attending school. They are sometimes but increasingly rarely staffed by a librarian.
